The performance of a standard T-MAX is considerably limited by the size of the original airbox and intake pipes, designed to reduce the noise generated by the intake itself.
The Jetprime enlarged airbox was created to compensate for the lack of air volume, especially after other modifications to the T-MAX.

Throttle control made entirely of solid Ergal, significantly more durable than the original plastic component.
Integrates the electrical controls of the original throttle assembly.

Enlarged throttle body with velocity stacks for Yamaha T-MAX 500 and 530.

These velocity stacks, developed for the TMAX, are necessary to improve the air intake during the acceleration phases.

Thanks to their particular shape, this allows to reduce air turbulence during the suction phase, improves air intake from inside the airbox, facilitates intake and reduces engine response time, especially when accelerating sharply.
